Since 2012, the company has empowered over 2.5 million Captains to earn income and served more than 70 million customers in over 70 cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan. As Careem enters a new era driven by artificial intelligence, it is seeking innovative AI professionals to develop impactful tools, automate workflows, and enhance both customer experience and internal operations. Within this fast-paced environment, the Design team is dedicated to creating user experiences that are simple, intuitive, and engaging. The team includes designers, researchers, writers, and brand experts who shape how millions interact with the Careem app. To further support its growth, the team is expanding by establishing an in-house content marketing unit to handle copywriting across all verticals, reducing reliance on external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop persuasive, concise, and brand-consistent copy for marketing and product platforms, including push notifications, CRM campaigns, and in-app banners.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, marketers, and engineers to deliver cohesive and effective content experiences.
- Lead the copy review process, perform content quality assurance, and refine materials for product launches and campaign rollouts.
- Assist in building scalable content systems and guidelines to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Quickly adapt content to meet evolving business priorities across various verticals such as Q-commerce, ride-hailing, and food delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in UX writing or digital copywriting, preferably within e-commerce or Q-commerce environments.
- Excellent command of English grammar and tone, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- A strong portfolio showcasing product-facing content, particularly for app interfaces and CRM communications.
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings with tight deadlines and rapid turnaround demands.
- Experience with CRM platforms, push notifications, and banner content creation.
