Within this innovative environment, the Design team focuses on creating simple, intuitive, and delightful user experiences. The team, composed of designers, researchers, writers, and brand experts, plays a crucial role in shaping how millions engage with the Careem app. Currently, the team is building an in-house content marketing group to address copywriting needs across all verticals and reduce reliance on external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write persuasive, concise, and brand-aligned copy for marketing and product applications, including push notifications, CRM campaigns, and in-app banners.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, marketers, and engineers to deliver cohesive and engaging content experiences.
- Lead copy review processes, conduct content quality assurance, and refine messaging for product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to the development of scalable content systems and style guidelines to maintain consistency across platforms.
- Adapt content quickly to meet evolving business needs across diverse verticals such as Q-commerce, ride-hailing, and food delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in UX writing or digital copywriting, preferably within e-commerce or Q-commerce applications.
- Strong command of English grammar, tone, and brevity, supported by a portfolio showcasing product-facing content, especially for app interfaces and CRM communications.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments requiring rapid turnaround and adaptability.
- Experience with CRM platforms, push notifications, and banner content.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Figma or other design collaboration tools is a plus.
