Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive audit projects in line with the internal audit strategy.
- Define audit scopes, perform risk assessments, and identify key control areas for evaluation.
- Utilize data analytics, SQL, and emerging AI technologies to enhance audit efficiency, automate testing procedures, and detect patterns or anomalies.
- Partner with various business units to evaluate process risks, recommend improvements to controls, and oversee remediation activities.
- Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and documentation standards.
- Participate in special audits, investigations, and advisory assignments as required.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Track and report on the progress of audit findings to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Keep abreast of evolving risks, technological advancements, and industry trends relevant to Careem’s operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk advisory roles.
- Strong analytical abilities, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive mindset to independently lead audits and initiatives.
