We are looking for a seasoned professional to oversee our import and procurement operations from beginning to end. The successful candidate will handle contract negotiations, pricing, and delivery schedules with international suppliers while ensuring all import documentation and customs clearance procedures are completed efficiently and on time. This role demands close coordination with finance, logistics, and sales departments to optimize operational workflows. Additionally, the individual will monitor market trends to uncover cost-saving opportunities and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire import and procurement process, ensuring smooth execution from order placement to delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery timelines with international vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Oversee the preparation and timely submission of all import documentation and facilitate customs clearance.
- Work collaboratively with finance, logistics, and sales teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify potential cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in imports and procurement.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in international purchasing or import management, preferably within the IT sector.
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, import documentation requirements, and customs regulations and clearance processes.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills, leadership capabilities, and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP software systems.
