As an Account Manager at foodpanda, you will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with key vendors who contribute significantly to the company’s order volume and revenue. You will serve as the primary point of contact for city-wide client accounts, ensuring strong and trustworthy partnerships. Your role involves identifying growth opportunities, negotiating contracts, and driving month-over-month growth across all assigned accounts. You will also be responsible for communicating progress on various initiatives to both internal teams and external stakeholders, preparing detailed reports on commercial and operational metrics, and forecasting sales results. Additionally, you will design exclusive marketing campaigns and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies effectively, resolving urgent issues and facilitating knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison for city-wide client accounts, maintaining strong relationships with key vendors.
- Develop and sustain trustworthy partnerships with all key accounts.
- Analyze and identify upcoming needs and business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability.
- Drive month-over-month growth for all assigned accounts.
- Communicate the progress of weekly, monthly, and quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive reports covering commercial metrics, operational metrics, product mix, and marketing campaigns.
- Forecast and track key account metrics, including monthly and quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
- Design and implement exclusive marketing campaigns, partnerships, and co-branding activities.
- Support cross-functional teams by facilitating communication, resolving urgent issues, and deploying necessary processes and tools.
- Manage additional tasks and projects as they arise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in account management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, or Google Workspace equivalents.
- Solid understanding of the internet and e-commerce sectors.
- Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to take full ownership of assigned functions.
- Proactive and driven, capable of leading independent projects.
- Skilled in root cause analysis and process flow development.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on following all steps in a process.
- Data-driven and process-oriented mindset.
