Developing and configuring system for new business requirements
Developing interfaces for new network platforms and integrations with BSS-IT systems
Create high-quality code as well as related documentation and verify these with component
or integration tests
Configuration of new business logics on the system
Ability to work with historic code and concepts, i.e. file based system, with a mix of java &
C++
Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:
- Highly proficient in application programming and testing
- Translating and aligning business requirements with technical possibilities
- Designing and configuring reports for KPIs
- Carry routine system maintenance and health check tasks of all hardware, operating
- system, database, and application levels
- Provide troubleshooting for all relevant systems
- Familiarity with BSS-IT Systems and knowledge of Billing, IN platform and CDR architecture is a plus
- Industry certification will be given preference in any programming language
- A strong, communicative, team-oriented, customer-oriented personality and have
- assertiveness and perseverance
Experience and Competencies:
- A total of 5 years’ experience (4 years plus experience in core Java development and telco
- experience with 1 year preferable)
- Hands-on experience skills in Java, C++ and shell scripting
- Good Unix/Linux skills
- Excellent SQL (Oracle) and RAC skills
