Server4Sale is looking for an experienced SEO/SEM specialist to manage, coordinate, and execute search engine optimization and digital marketing for our company and clients.
We're looking for someone who can serve as the technically-minded anchor of our Search Engine Optimization team.
The right candidate has a holistic understanding of what makes a successful SEO campaign, but enjoys the technical aspects of SEO the most: a deep knowledge of search engine algorithms, experience putting together detailed site audits, and the ability to make a wide variety of on-site implementations using HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and/or other programming languages.
Duties
You will be responsible for managing SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase relevant traffic from major search networks.
You will also manage SEM campaigns, and assist the project manager as needed.
Responsibilities
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC campaigns
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization/marketing
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Competitive analysis (e.g., keyword research, strategies, ads)
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices
- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy
- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building)
- Strategize, write, proof, editorialize, and publish SEO content
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Experience or good familiarity with testing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Crazy Egg, HotJar, CallRail, and Mongoose Metrics
- Experience or good familiarity with SEO research tools such as Majestic, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
- SEO-level understanding of HTML/CSS
- Experience with SEO reporting
- Experience with automation tools such as Zapier or IFTTT
- Aptitude for both analytical and creative tasks
Bonus Points
- Understanding of marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Light front-end development (creating pages and posts)
