- Review and clarify job requirements as stated in the standard procedures and documents before starting any job.
- Identify any incomplete or ambiguous information and inform the Co-ordinator or Head of Operations.
- Perform inspections at suppliers’/clients’ premises as per given instructions/standard procedures/guidelines.
- Where a team of Inspection Engineers is working, senior Inspection Engineer may supervise the work of other Inspection Engineers.
- Prepare a report of inspection findings in the specified format. Submit a hard copy or soft copy of the report on floppy disk along with drawn samples (if any) to the Co-ordinator or Head of Operations. Undertake debriefing of the findings to the Co-ordinator or Head of Operations.
- Issue the report to the client.
- Provide the Head of Operations or Co-ordinator the feed back regarding work activities.
- Identify to the Head of Operations or Co-ordinator any deficiency with respect to information or equipment that is causing impediments to work flow.
- Provide on-the-job training to new inspection engineers.
- Undertake any other activity or task assigned by the Head of Operations or Co-ordinator.
