Head Designer (Textile & Fashion)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, talented, detail-oriented and highly organized Textile Designer with a wide range of skills for multi-faceted role for our organization which is launching a new brand for women wear.

Responsibilities:

1. Research on international textile and fashion trends to devise upcoming themes with mood-board/inspirations.
2. Keeping up to date and spotting fashion trends in fabric design by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using internet resources.
3. Market research for fabrics, embellishments and accessories.
4. Competitor’s analysis for pricing, fabric, branding and promotions.
5. Design process management of unstitched collections four volumes per year (Lawn, Silk, Festive, and winter).
6. Design process management of pret collection for online and offline retail.
7. Design textile prints, embroideries, jacquards and dobbies.
8. Seasonal campaign planning for unstitched and stitched according to budgets allocated.
9. Seasonal color planning according to forecasts.
10. Designing, planning and execution from concept to pack for stitched and unstitched in coordination with PPC department through tech packs.
11. Preparing collection for fashion shows and recommending participation in major fashion events.
12. Working closely with marketing department for photo shoots, digital and print media buying, e-commerce campaigns.
13. Obtaining feedback from sales team as per consumer behavior and sales trend.
14. Monitoring sampling, pattern cutting, grading and garment construction for pret line.
15. Monitoring overall quality process from sampling to final launch.
16. Ensuring that projects are completed on time.
