We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, talented, detail-oriented and highly organized Textile Designer with a wide range of skills for multi-faceted role for our organization which is launching a new brand for women wear.
Responsibilities:
-
- Research on international textile and fashion trends to devise upcoming themes with mood-board/inspirations.
- Keeping up to date and spotting fashion trends in fabric design by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using internet resources.
- Market research for fabrics, embellishments and accessories.
- Competitor’s analysis for pricing, fabric, branding and promotions.
- Design process management of unstitched collections four volumes per year (Lawn, Silk, Festive, and winter).
- Design process management of pret collection for online and offline retail.
- Design textile prints, embroideries, jacquards and dobbies.
- Seasonal campaign planning for unstitched and stitched according to budgets allocated.
- Seasonal color planning according to forecasts.
