Shahkam Industries is seeking a proactive PPC/Purchase Officer to oversee procurement and production planning processes. The PPC/Purchase Officer works closely with production, merchandising, warehouse, and supply chain teams to align production schedules with order requirements. The role includes monitoring production targets, supporting material requirement planning activities, and maintaining accurate production records. Additionally, the officer drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and uphold compliance with company standard operating procedures and timelines. This position is vital for ensuring that procurement and production processes operate seamlessly to support the company's growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order processing and procurement activities to align with production needs and company budgets.
- Coordinate production planning and scheduling based on order requirements and production capacity.
- Collaborate effectively with production, merchandising, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure workflow efficiency and material availability.
- Monitor and follow up on production targets and delivery schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Support material requirement planning (MRP) by analyzing inventory levels and procurement needs to avoid production delays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Lead and manage a team of five personnel to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and team objectives are met.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement and production processes to increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production timelines to maintain consistent production output.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to report progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
