Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be actively involved in preparing, reviewing, commenting and drafting contracts with customers and Power Purchase Agreements
- To assist in reviewing the legal material and any other relevant documents and to identify the most important issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis pertaining to finance documents with the lenders and investors, contracts with vendors, and various submissions to regulatory bodies such as NEPRA, SECP etc.
- To conduct legal analysis and research on various legal matters of the client or the organization
- To provide advice on different legal issues and assist in drafting legal opinions, memoranda and other briefing documents
- To draw up formalities regarding the settlement of disputes and monitor the implementation of the legal clauses
- To ensure that all the proceedings of the organization are in compliance with the requirements of the legislation
- To supervise, analyse and research the implication of laws, legislation, etc., that may affect the organization
- To ensure minimum legal exposure and liability of the organization
- Additional tasks assigned by supervisor/manager
Education & Work Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience of 1-2 years within chosen specialty
- Bachelor’s degree in law with license to practice law
- Excellent analytical, researching and drafting skills
- Excellent team player with the ability to prioritize work
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organization
