Job Description

Accounts and Operations Manager

  • Prepare accounting policies and SOPs for individual department and organization as well
  • Resourceful and effective at multi-tasking.
  • Prepare Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement on Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly & Annually basis
  • Liaison with banks for all matters of leases, LCs, markups and others
  • Arrange the Annual Audit and liaison with external auditors for all matters of audit
  • Preparation of Sales Tax Returns (FBR, PRA, SBR), Withholding Tax-Vendors, Sales Tax Withheld, Salary Tax and all other matters of tax
  • Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly & Annually maintenance & valuation of stock i.e raw material & finished goods
  • Supervise the Maintenance of books of accounts to regulate the internal control system (Receivables, Payables, Sales Invoices, Purchase Invoices, Accruals, Assets Booking, Depreciation, Lease Assets, LCs, Withholding Tax, Sales Tax, stock etc.)
  • Sales Tax audit, Withholding Tax audit and Income Tax audit to Sales Tax and Income Tax Department
  • Expense analysis, Income analysis and Financial Statement analysis
  • Prepare all sorts of reports required for internal or external use of organization
  • Have an experience and capability to work professionally
  • Ability to run the accounting software i.e. ERP
  • Communication with PSX, NCCPL, CDC and the SECP.
  • Keeping yourself acquainted with the rules and regulations of PSX, NCCPL, CDC and the SECP
  • Preparing all SOP's from account opening to settlement and for any other operational matter.

In addition to these responsibilities you shall be responsible for all operational mechanisms that are related to a brokerage firm. You shall develop the procedures and policies required for a brokerage house to function in accordance with the relevant rules that are provided by different institutions as above mentioned and implement those procedures as well.
