Senior UX / UI Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to own our product design lifecycle, from research and concepts to high-fidelity prototypes. You will be the primary advocate for our users, ensuring our applications are intuitive, accessible, and beautifully designed.

This is a unique hybrid role. In addition to your core design responsibilities, you will also be responsible for managing and growing our company's social media presence, creating engaging content that reflects our brand and culture.

Key Responsibilities

UX/UI Design Responsibilities (Primary)

· Design Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design process for our web and mobile applications, from user research and ideation to final handoff.

· User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.

· Prototyping: Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD or PenPot.

· Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and a high-quality final product.

· Design Systems: Help build, maintain, and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all products.

· Mentorship: Provide guidance and feedback to any junior designers and act as the design authority within the company.

Social Media Management Responsibilities (Secondary)

· Content Strategy: Develop and execute a social media strategy for Sharpvisions IT to increase brand awareness and engagement.

· Content Creation: Design and write compelling content (graphics, posts, simple videos) for our social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).

· Channel Management: Manage all company social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and DMs.

· Analytics: Track and report on social media metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

· Brand Voice: Ensure all content is consistent with our company's brand, style, and tone.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Haves)

· 5+ years of professional experience in a UX/UI or Product Design role.

· A strong, diverse portfolio is required. Your portfolio must showcase your design process, user-centric thinking, and high-quality visual design skills.

· Expert proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, PenPot).

· At least 1-2 years of demonstrable experience managing professional social media accounts and creating digital content.

· Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and interaction design.

· Excellent visual design and copywriting skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication skills to articulate and defend design decisions.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

· Experience designing for both mobile (Flutter/iOS/Android) and web.

· Basic video editing skills for creating social media content.

· Experience with branding and marketing design.

· Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
