- Will assist project team to implementation modalities (targeting criteria, mobilization modalities, local partnerships, monitoring systems, staff schedules, etc.)
- Will assist project team in overall Nutrition implementation plan in collaboration with Field team and Community Nutrition worker’s personnel to ensure the full package is planned.
- Will ensure provision of equipment, reporting materials, supplies and drugs as necessary
- Will ensure timely submission of all reports to DPM and provide technical assistance.
- Will ensure the implementation of activities defined by the District Project Manager in coordination with the Logistics and Administration departments
- Will develop plan of work for Community outreach team, SAM case identification & referral and children/PLW supplementation activities according to the expected progress of the project
- Will provide assistance to and update program needs (HR, financing, logistics)
- Will provide assistance to project/program team to ensure the program strategy, objectives and activities are understood and agreed and appropriate communication channel is in place
- Will organize monthly meetings with the team and report the outcome to the head of the program along with proposed action plan
- Will provide supportive supervision to CHS/CHW to track and evaluate the performance against targets
- Will ensuring IYCF education is disseminated to the target beneficiaries
- Will analyzing nutrition situation and prevailing trends
- Will document lessons learned and best practices at the program/District level
- Will evaluate the daily and monthly reporting submitted by field the teams
- Will provide assistance in Provincial Nutrition Cluster, and nutrition assessment/ survey groups and filing of meeting minutes
- Will represent Shifa Foundation nutrition programs when and if necessary vis-a-vis donors during their field visits
- Will development of network with other actors in the area as well as community leaders/representatives
- Will ensure communication and coordination between the OTP and outreach team in the frame of a Nutrition program.
- Will sensitize main stakeholders on Malnutrition and need for support and commitment for long term access to life saving activities for children; at this stage the overall entry/exit strategy can be shared emphasizing the vital role of the stakeholders to make this happen.
- Will monitor stocks physically at static and field level, check for expiry date, quality and quantity
- Will checking that all the supplies are listed in the stock register; bin cards are visible.
- Will participate in the follow-up of supplies consumption and orders
- Will ensuring that stock levels are sufficient for the functioning of SC, Outreach and OTP (weekly, monthly or quarterly).
- Will ensure communication and coordination between the SC, OTP and IYCF outreach team in the frame of a Nutrition program
