- Oversee the overall implementation of the SC part of the nutrition components at district Umerkot. Supervising the regular attendance and performance of the SC Staff in consultation with the District Nutrition Team Lead.
- Oversee the overall management of Severely acute malnutritioned children with complications and provide technical guidance and training to the health team (Nurses and dispenser and Aya ) as well as ensure protocols are being adhered to and the Stabilization Center is operating within quality indicators;
- Liase closely with the DHQ Pediatric unit for management of complicated cases of Severely Acute Malnourished and their proper follow up. Coordinate with the DHQ Pediatric unit for referral of potential cases of Severely acute malnutrition with complications.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly SC reports (Including Success stories) with the district Nutrition Team Lead
- Prepare and submit timely Supply Request for SC supplies (F75, F100, Resimole, Plumpy nuts, Medications and other relevant items) with the District Nutrition Team Lead for ensuring smooth implementation of SC activities.
- Liaise closely with the District Nutrition Coordinator, to ensure an integrated nutrition approach across sectors as well as coordination between field Nutrition team and PPHI Nutrition centers;
- To be responsible for ensuring positive and constructive relations between SC & other components of Nutrition Projects as well as with DHQ authorities in consultation with District Nutrition Team Lead.
- Improve the quality of the present Stabilization center activities through supervision of key staff, analysis and lessons learnt, and review of best practice guidelines in consultation with the District Nutrition Team Lead.
- Arrange Period refresher sessions for trickling down the skills & Knowledge in the context of CMAM SC, Component in coordination with the district Nutrition Team Lead.
