The post holder will undertake the appropriate level of training and is responsible for ensuring that they understand and work within the safeguarding policies of the organisation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall implementation of project activities
  • Establish close lesions and working relationship with partner organizations, donors, government line departments particularly District Education Department.
  • Staff capacity building and delegating project tasks based on their job descriptions, individual strengths, skills and experience
  • Conduct field visits in the project intervention areas/ districts/ regions
  • Represent Shifa Foundation and donors at field level
  • Conduct meetings with staff, line departments, donors and senior management at Shifa Foundation when and where required.
  • Process and follow up on project NOCs with competent authorities
  • Maintain close coordination with District Administration
  • Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and oversee all aspects of the project.
  • Completion of project deliverables within the stipulated timeframe, budget and scope of the project
  • Ensure visibility of project and image building of Shifa Foundation
  • Ensure proper maintenance of project MOVs
  • Project data management (soft and hard)
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of the project
  • Timely preparation and submission of progress reports i.e. monthly, quarterly, biannual to donors, education department, and Shifa Foundation management regarding the status of project
  • Sharing weekly progress with Reporting Manager at Shifa Foundation
  • Ensure resources availability and proper allocation
  • Ensure timely admin, logistics and financial support through finance department at Shifa Foundation
  • Develop appropriate project management tools and techniques for measuring performance
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks and ensure smooth implementation
  • Track project performance, especially to analyze the successful completion of short and long terms goals
  • Support project staff in micro planning and social mapping for project activities
  • Creating innovative ideas for further strengthening the project and image building of Shifa Foundation
  • Support staff in documenting success stories and case studies.
  • Any other task assigned by the line manager.
