Responsibilities:

  • Assist Chief Nursing Officer in developing, implementing, and evaluating short and long term goals, objectives, policies and procedures to ensure consistency with organizational goals
  • Develop and foster effective collaboration between clinical departments, divisions, medical staff leadership, faculty and other affiliated services (inside and outside of the hospital) to ensure integrated approach to providing services and fulfilling the hospitals clinical and educational goals and objectives
  • Monitor and seek compliance with infection control, safety and various quality assurance policies in the nursing department
  • Monitor master staffing patterns in the Nursing Department and recommends adjustments according to changing situation
  • Provides, direct, leadership, guidance and direction to the Nurse Managers, and indirect supervision of other nursing staff as required to ensure safe, effective nursing care is being provided to patients in the hospital with consultation with Chief Nursing Officer
  • Ensure that nursing care is based on best practices and act as an expert clinical resource for all nursing personnel on the unit
  • Assure adherence to standards of care and ensure consistent level of nursing care is provided throughout the continuum of care

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. in Nursing
  • Additional Master's Degree in Health Care Management / Hospital Management will be preferred
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in nursing administration of a tertiary healthcare setup
  • Working experience in Joint Commission International Accredited and ISO certified hospital will be preferred
