Responsibilities:

  • Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance of all HVAC systems in the hospital and its affiliated centers.
  • Demonstrate competency in diagnosing faults in all types of Mechanical systems.
  • Design and provide enhancements to all conservation programs for electricity & natural gas and assist to plant instrument and perform troubleshoot on equipment.
  • Review HVAC related design packages, provide comments on HVAC plans and detailed drawings prepared by the design consultant to identify necessary design changes complying with the respective standards.
  • Inspect and analyze existing systems, determine the condition of existing systems, and verify operating parameters for accuracy.
  • Use computers to run programs in order to calculate heat loads and solve engineering problems as required.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, work orders, sketches and assign work to subordinate technicians to ensure proper completion of work in a safe and timely manner.
  • Prepare, manage budgets, and manage stocks and supplies of equipment.
  • Maintain records of materials, labor costs, and accomplishments to provide documentation for statistical calculations for future reference.
  • Monitor and ensure the upkeep of the plumbing system including domestic water, sanitary sewer and hot water systems etc.
  • Familiar with the relevant codes, standards for purifying systems in healthcare settings and timely respond to emergency breakdowns.

Skills:

  • Excellent know-how of HVAC and other mechanical trades.
  • Candidate should possess a strong ability to coordinate between MEP, as well as discuss technical aspects of other trades at a high level.
