1.  Review and approve daily transactions including journal vouchers, Payment voucher/petty cash vouchers/ final dues of employees. This mainly include pre disbursement audit of the suppliers/vendors/contractors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the Company as well as regulatory compliance.
  2. Maintain financial records of company in accordance with international standards and the company ordinance.
  3. Look after tax issues as well as compliance of prevailing tax law by the company.
  4. To look after tax matters including compliance with sales tax rules and law and review of filling of sales tax returns.
  5. To advice higher management on financial matters of the company.
  6. To assist the company in financing issues by preparing different analysis/information.
  7. To assist subordinate staff members in maintaining adequate financial records.
  8. Review monthly accounts and preparation of monthly reports for CFO/GM.
  9. Prepare monthly financial statement and there comparison with budget.
  10. Prepare and finalize quarterly half yearly and annual financial statements of company for presentation to board /different analysis for decision making.
  11. Ensure in time printing of the quarterly/half yearly/annual financial statements for onward submission to shareholders/stock exchanges.
  12. Preparation of quarterly/half yearly/annual presentation for board of directors.
  13. Filling of annual income tax of the company and follow up on its hearing.
  14. Prepare reply to income tax/sales tax notices issued by the Inland Revenue Department.
  15. Coordination with Inland Revenue department for tax audit and presenting the case of the Company at different appellate forums.
  16. Prepare and finalize projection for future planning of company
  17. Coordination with external auditors for carrying out annual audit and half yearly review.
  18. Review variance analysis report with last year actual as well as with current budget.
  19. Preparation of departmental variance reports and meetings with different head of department to discuss variance analysis reports. Active participation in strategic planning and business development meetings/sessions.
