Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all food and nutritional services programs including staffing, nutritional treatment plans review and program implementation.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with concerned departments to maintain par-level of food stuff and monitoring of issue / receipts of food store items on system.
  • Supervise all food service-related activities; including patient care, non-patient care (retail, cafeteria, catering, etc.), quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all hospital-related activities.
  • Monitor budgets and review financial transactions in order to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted.
  • Provide dietary care to patients with the aim to provide nutritional well-being and to prevent nutrition related problems.
  • Oversee and /or direct the activities of workers engaged in the preparation, storage, delivery, service of food; and ensure compliance with health regulations regarding sanitary conditions in food storage, preparation and service, in kitchen and dining areas & in food service staff.
  • Manage all departmental day to day operations efficiently and diligently.
  • Provide hygienic and healthy storage and cooking environment.
  • Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns.
  • Comply with all health & safety regulatory requirements.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of quality standards specially related to Food Stores and Hospital food services.
  • Knowledge of Accounting / Book keeping & Store keeping.
  • Good communication and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Strong team player with good time management skills.
  • Good public dealing with pleasant personality.
