Leading a team of five, the Incharge ensures that student activities, counseling, and welfare initiatives align with university policies and promote a supportive environment for all students. Reporting directly to the Director Student Affairs or Registrar, this role involves comprehensive responsibilities ranging from overseeing student societies and organizing major events to managing grievances and enforcing conduct policies. The incumbent cultivates leadership among student representatives, facilitates conflict resolution, and collaborates with mental health professionals to support student well-being. This mid-level leadership position requires at least eight years of relevant experience to effectively coordinate resources, manage budgets, and maintain records, contributing significantly to the quality and vibrancy of campus life at the Park Road Campus.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all student-led clubs and societies, ensuring effective operation, adherence to university policies, and the maintenance of active annual event calendars.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate a diverse range of extracurricular activities such as sports festivals, debating competitions, arts exhibitions, and community service projects to enhance student engagement.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to student leaders and executive committees, delivering training on event management, financial budgeting, and communication skills to develop their leadership capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for student grievances, conducting conflict mediation and ensuring that student concerns are effectively represented in administrative decisions.
  • Collaborate with campus counselors to promote mental health awareness and organize workshops focused on stress management, personal development, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and enforce inclusive campus policies and activities that promote accessibility and belonging for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
  • Monitor and enforce the Student Code of Conduct, ensuring a respectful, professional, and harmonious campus environment.
  • Participate actively in the Campus Discipline Committee by investigating incidents, recommending corrective measures, and facilitating conflict resolution between student groups or between students and staff.
  • Prepare, manage, and oversee the annual budget for student affairs, ensuring financial resources are effectively allocated to maximize student development impact.
  • Coordinate administrative logistics for major institutional events, including Orientation Week, Convocation, and Career Fairs, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student participation, society achievements, disciplinary cases, and event outcomes for reporting to institutional authorities and quality assurance audits.
  • Lead and supervise a team of five staff members, providing strategic direction, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
