Key Responsibilities
1. Experimental Design and Execution
Execute detailed laboratory experiments related to drug synthesis, drug delivery systems, formulation development, or in vitro/in vivo pharmacological screening, strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Operate and maintain specialized pharmaceutical laboratory equipment, such as HPLC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Dissolution Apparatus, Freeze Dryer, and Rotary Evaporator.
Prepare standard solutions, reagents, media, and mobile phases accurately.
Ensure all experiments adhere to safety and ethical guidelines for pharmaceutical research.
2. Data Management and Analysis
Collect, record, and process experimental data meticulously in laboratory notebooks and electronic files, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
Perform statistical analysis of research data using relevant software (e.g., SPSS, GraphPad Prism) and present findings clearly in tables and graphs.
Conduct comprehensive literature searches on current pharmaceutical topics and methodologies.
3. Documentation and Reporting
Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in preparing grant applications, progress reports, and detailed experimental protocols.
Contribute significantly to the drafting and editing of research manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journals.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of chemicals, glassware, consumables, and project-specific materials, ensuring proper storage and disposal.
