A rapidly growing American based healthcare start-up is hiring experienced, enthusiastic and passionate IT business analyst to become a liaison between domain experts from the field of medicine and application developers with core technical skills. A specialized business analyst who can simplify the complexities and specifics of healthcare processes into software specifications, to be implemented by the software developers. An ideal candidate must have a prior experience with proven success in healthcare applications and having strong grip on both functional and business flow of EMR/EHR systems is mandatory. Please do not apply if you do not have EMR experience. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and transform raw business requirements into workable software products.
Experienced professionals from EMR/EHR domain, who are willing to work on part time basis are also encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gather requirements from healthcare domain experts that includes physicians, doctors and medical consultants.
- Analyze, refine and document requirements with complete business process flows, use case descriptions and data flow diagrams.
- Capture optimal business scenarios to ensure best user experience and depict it using wireframes
- Lead the development team to implement business requirements with ideal user experience
- Assist the quality assurance team to produce test cases and functional testing specifications
- · Produce, maintain and manage software requirements specifications (SRS) and Functional Specification (FS) documents and other related artefacts.
Essential skills required for this job role include:
- Sound knowledge of healthcare processes, practice management system and electronic medical record systems
- Excellent Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
- The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and functionality tradeoffs
- The ability to produce and present Business cases
- To be Proficient in software Modeling techniques and methods
