Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated resource who is competent enough to plan, develop, implement and execute Quality Assurance processes of a start-up IT company in digital healthcare industry.

Major responsibilites include:
- Perform validation activities at all steps of web and mobile application development life cycle
- Assist in developing software artifacts that include business requirements, software specifications, solution documents and training manuals
- Perform non-functional testing such as, but not limited to, Performance Testing, Security Testing, Reliability Testing, Load Testing, Create test plans, test scripts and test cases for product validation and bug fixes based on system requirements
- Review business requirements, system specifications and technical design documents to develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Debug issues and suggest solution
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate software testing activities Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools Identify, log and document testing outcomes to assign and track software bugs
- Perform comprehensive regression testing Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise and coordinate with management, business-system analysts, software developers and product managers to identify software quality assurance requirements
- Identify areas for improvement in internal processes along with solutions and explore and implement new testing tools and QA strategies
Ideal candiate must meed following requirements
- Having atleast 6 months to 1 year of experience in Functional and Non-functional Testing of software systems (such as Performance Testing, Security Testing, Reliability Testing, Load Testing)
- Having knowledge of Unix Commands
- Proven work experience in software development industry
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Solid knowledge of databases, SQL scripting and writing queries for RDBMS
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent communication, technical writing and organizational skills
- hold BS/MS degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineerinng or a related area
- Candidates having prior experience in healthcare IT sector and healthcare applications would be plus
