Responsibilities:
- Design, Modify & Maintain automation framework wherever required
- Designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions as and when required.
- Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts.)
- Develop, adjust sanity and regression test suites after each sprint release.
- Conducting tests before each sprint release to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.
- Design Performance Test Scripts for enterprise applications based on Requirements
- Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes
- Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities
- Run and manage performance tests
- Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports
- Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance
- Assume primary responsibility as Performance Testing SPOC
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of related experience.
- Hands on experience of JMeter, Jira, API testing tools, Load balancing, and performance testing tools.
- Should have an experience of Python testing.
- Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
- Expertise in API testing using POSTMAN tool & Newman
- Expertise in POSTMAN Automation and POSTMAN monitoring
- Hands-on exposure in Manual testing & good understanding of testing methodologies
- Expertise in Jira & Github and Jenkins
- Good understanding of agile methodologies
- Experience in Web/mobile application automation testing using Selenium/Appium will be an additional plus
- Good understanding of OOPS programming concepts
- Passion for programming, learning new technologies
- Expertise in Performance Testing tools using Jmeter / Performance center.
- Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessary follow-up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
- Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection, and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
- Generate performance graphs, session reports, and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
- Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detailed status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues.
- Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
- Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills.
