We are looking for a remote Shopify Developer/Designer to provide ongoing maintenance and support for a client’s Shopify website. This part-time role involves handling a variety of front-end and back-end development tasks as assigned by the team lead. The ideal candidate will work efficiently and flexibly, with the ability to manage their own schedule. Evening availability is required for weekly client meetings. This position offers a fixed monthly fee and the potential for long-term collaboration, including involvement in future projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the client’s Shopify website regularly to ensure smooth operation.
- Complete various front-end and back-end development tasks as assigned by the team lead.
- Deliver all tasks on time, regardless of the time required to complete them.
- Attend weekly client meetings held in the evening to discuss progress and project requirements.
- Communicate promptly and professionally within WhatsApp groups to address client inquiries and team discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing Shopify websites.
- Proficient in written and spoken English with clear and professional communication skills.
- Availability to participate in scheduled client meetings and maintain timely communication via WhatsApp.
- Willingness to work part-time with flexible hours, typically 1-2 hours daily depending on workload.
- Strong commitment to completing assigned tasks thoroughly and on schedule.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least one year of hands-on experience working with Shopify platforms is desirable.
- The role offers a fixed monthly fee of PKR 2,500, with an expected workload of 5 to 10 hours per week.
- Fully remote position, allowing you to work from any location and manage your hours based on task demands.
