Shopify Expert

Horizon Tech is looking for a talented Shopify Expert to design, develop, and launch a fully functional Shopify store from scratch. The role requires building core pages, organizing product categories, setting up custom product options, implementing email automation, configuring analytics, and performing basic SEO optimization. All content and necessary information will be provided, with ongoing support available throughout the project. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Karachi, working evening and night shifts aligned with US Eastern Standard Time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build a complete Shopify store using provided images and text.
- Develop essential pages including Home, About/Our Team, and Contact Us.
- Structure product categories with appropriate tags and search functionality.
- Create detailed product pages with accurate information and clean layouts.
- Set up cart functionality and payment processing systems.
- Install and configure apps to enable custom product options such as color and size variations, additional fees for engraving, UV printing, and other add-ons, as well as file/logo uploads and personalized text fields.
- Implement newsletter signup forms and homepage pop-up features.
- Configure abandoned cart email automation and develop a basic post-purchase email flow.
- Upload product data via CSV files, ensuring accurate import of product details, variants, pricing, and tags.
- Set up analytics tools to monitor store performance.
- Optimize on-site SEO to improve search visibility.
- Optionally, connect and synchronize the Shopify catalog with Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Shop.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in building, customizing, and launching Shopify stores.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify themes, apps, and product configuration.
- Proficiency in CSV product uploads and basic SEO principles.
- Experience with analytics setup and email automation workflows.
- Ability to manage custom product options and integrate third-party apps effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Fluency in English is essential.

Additional Details:
The position is based in Karachi, specifically near Shaheed-E-Millat Road, close to Shahrah-e-Faisal. The work schedule involves evening and night shifts to align with US Eastern Standard Time. This is a full-time role offering a monthly salary range of Rs100,000 to Rs150,000.
