Sibisoft is looking for a practiced DevOps Engineer with experience not only in the concepts but the implementation and support of release and environmental automation. This specialist will have development experience, expertise in automation with the latest CI/CD tools, and should be very fluent scripting in YAML & PS. VMware, Jenkins, and Ansible are a must. Experience with security best practices is a big plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop processes to improve and expand upon them leveraging modern techniques.
- Manage and administer our Dev, QA, and Production GitLab environments used company wide.
- Convert existing manual workflows into automated playbooks using Ansible.
- Partner with QA team to create and troubleshoot Jenkins builds.
- Collaborate with the software development & QA teams to automate the setup and maintenance of application and database servers.
- Strong programming/scripting knowledge - Bash, Python, YAML, PS, etc.
- Software package management.
- Troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines, including network tracing and backend log analysis.
- Technically strong and hands-on.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with previous experience as a Software Developer and /or System Administrator
- Intermediate/Advanced GitLab Experience.
- 2 years of experience in CI/CD Tools, Jenkins, GitLab
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Ample experience in scripting
- Solid understanding of client-server application architecture
- Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems.
- Good communication skills to communicate with peers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
