Siddique Ice is looking to add an architect to its construction/engineering team. Job responsibilites will include working closely with the owner to take projects from concept to reality. This position will work with the Civil, Electrical and Mechanical engineer to bring together all of their respesctive drawings and present a consolidated plan to owner. This position will be responsible for managing day to day construction aspects of the job, material selection, vendor selection, vendor price negotiation etc. Job requires ocassional travel out of town.
The candidate must posses the following skills:
- Excellent sketching abilities
- Advanced skills in Autocad, Revit, 3D Max, BIM
- Hands on experience with construction projects
- IAP and PCATP membership
- Familiarity with International Building Code
Job Deliverables:
- Develop logical project schedules with timelines
- Ensure timely execution of projects
- Generate Material Requisitions
- Develop detailed specs, schedules, sections, elevations, 3D renderings
- Draw up work contracts documents
- Manage labor schedules and excellent workmanship
- Ensure construction follows best international practices
