• Team lead in processing inbound royalty revenue data from wide variety of sources
  • Provide management with a monthly and quarterly reconciliation report for cash received and processed income
  • Support internal and external rights holders (e.g. Partners, Societies, Sub-Publishers, etc.) to ensure that royalty-related issues get resolved quickly
  • Managing in-house systems (Internal CMS and Accounting)
  • Review payable/receivable balances and communicate to finance
  • Directly manage royalty & compliance executives and assist in their training and growth
  • Assist in processing income in backlog, error, suspense, client adjustments, etc.
  • Liaise with team members and other departments globally as it relates to Royalties
  • Manage the assignment of claims for advances and adjustments
  • Review royalty outbound payment bills and coordinate with Finance & Accounting for payments to clients
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure VAT, GST, and WHT is accurately accounted for on both inbound and outbound payments
  • Liaise with Clients for SRP CMS access and training
  • Coordinate the invoicing and payment process between clients and SRP finance team
  • Complete ad hoc projects as needed
  • Developing key financial controls for the royalty accounts
  • Execute and document process change as require
  • Assist SRP management in evaluating the success of automated processes, assessing effort vs output to ensure automation levels remain optimal

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Advanced Excel skills and impeccable attention to detail 
  • Experience using high volumes of data and reconciling various sources of data
  • Highly motivated and organized with excellent time management skills
  • A strong analytical background and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for music and numbers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high productivity environment with tight deadlines
