• SAM & SMV calculations
  • Evaluation of monthly plans of cutting, stitching, finishing and packing to maximize utilization of the available resources
  • Define and review the process methodology for Cutting, Stitching and Finishing
  • Make suggestions pertaining to process methodology improvement, to enhance efficiency in Production and Sampling departments
  • Workout ways and plan of actions to Implement LEAN practices across all sections of operations.
  • Verify the need assessment of new resources required in the form of man, machine and material in any process related department, in order to achieve the monthly targets.
  • Verify the rationale of new man power before making any recommendation to the senior management for approval.
  • Critically monitor man machine ratio and use innovative techniques that result in improving man machine ratio.
  • Periodically get production floor layouts reviewed to ensure optimal utilization of resources and time.
  • Ensure efficient layout design of shop floors, in order to maximize production.
  • Liaison with the concerned teams of consultants involved in layout designs and ensure projects are being carried out as per the agreed plans.
  • Improve efficiencies and lead times by exercising innovation in Industrial Engineering initiatives.
  • Conduct Critical Parameter (CP) meetings on weekly basis and review the rate of achievement of all monthly process related targets.
  • Identify the gaps and areas of improvement and provide necessary suggestions for improvement (for productivity & cost) with plan of action.
  • Implement approved suggestions and present report based on results to senior management.
  • Creating a multi-diversified product portfolio for SSG.
  • Continuous improvement techniques assuring consistent cost savings.
  • Set out layout of fabric counter matching process and closely monitor its efficiency.
  • Critically evaluate fabric counter checking process to improve lead times.
  • Establish and run inhouse training school for skilled workers
