Silverback (Pvt.) Limited, an IoT based startup, is looking for a Lead Embedded Engineer to join our growing team. Your responsibilities would entail:
Lead Embedded Systems Engineer will be a seasoned programmer with extensive experience to provide technical contributions and leadership in the design and development of embedded systems, including hardware selection, programming, development, integration, design trade-offs, and test planning for wireless communication systems. You need to have the ability to lead features to their completion, to understand critical issues and come up with optimal solutions to resolve them. You will also implement features to support hardware testing. This is a highly cross functional role and you’ll work closely with various teams, like EE, Systems Engineering, Hardware Testing, QA, Manufacturing and Operations. The environment is dynamic, fast-paced and requires a go-getter attitude.
Key Qualifications
- A genuine passion for embedded hardware development.
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Responsible for full life cycle of hardware development, including production, testing and deployment of projects
- Designing embedded hardware systems, using EDA/PCB design software
- Knowledge of Bus communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, RS232/RS485), microcontrollers, preferably Arduino, STM & relevant software stacks as well as bare metal programming
- Able to comprehend hardware specs and schematics.
- Ability to deliver on tight schedules.
- Excellent collaborative skills, should be a great team player.
