Job Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible for implementation of CPI and WASH infrastructure activities, ensure quality & quantity in WASH services restoration in project area within time frame as per organizational commitment.

Key Accountabilities:

The job holder is accountable for fulfilling his / her roles and responsibilities in line with Islamic values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and team members.

Technical

•          Review of project documents (construction drawings & specifications) as well as business process / DIP in detail for understanding project mandate / deliverables relevant to your role.

•          Carry out the technical feasibility / assessment (site identification, material, labor, transportation, supplies etc) of WASH activities prior to implementation for ensuring sustainability & cost effectiveness as well as agreed time frame of project. 

•          Assist in preparation of drawings, BoQs & cost estimates of infrastructure schemes as per the organisation’s commitment & set standards (provide an example i.e. SPHERE, EQ resistant structure etc).

•          Assist in analysis of construction material e.g. elemental composition, dimensions & quality etc according to drawing & specification.

•          Assist in conducting market survey for proposed materials availability, unit rates of material/labours and provide realistic estimates of the proposed activities of WASH project

•          To be able to get different materials sampling, on different intervals, for testing and quality check & work assurance with approved samples during the course of implementation at the field

•          Take part in supplier selection process by evaluating the samples against specifications given in approved BOQs/estimates at field level as & when needed.

•          Ensure the layouts, levels and all activities at site both pre & post construction to know whether construction work is being done according to drawings and specifications or not.

•          Analyse and prepare plans for material requisitions.

•          Monitor and provide support for developing understanding of skilled labours, community activists or beneficiary household regarding design, inclusiveness, DRR and protection measures.

•          Timely report to supervisor regarding any issue relevant to design at earliest stage of the project with recommendations

Public Relations / Media

·         Support the media team in the development of constructive working relationships with media representatives to build international and public profile and ensure positive coverage and the timely provision of situation reports and fundraising material to organization.

Safety and Security

·         Liaise with the local/area supply chain officer to ensure compliance with organization Security Guidelines and their effective application in the local context;

·         Monitor the operational environment with respect to increased level of threat and advise the SPO/District/Program Coordinator and organization Security Officer/Security Focal person.

·         Follow the appropriate communications means to meet operational and security requirements;

Administration

·         Ensure that administrative support functions are supported in accordance with organization administrative policies and procedures;

·         Ensure compliance with district/area/country legal, contractual, labour and statutory requirements.

Financial Management and Planning

·         Regularly review and financial planning/forecasting and reporting of the project

·         Assist SPO in execution of the project financial expenditures, BVA review and reporting

·         Ensure with the finance department, the maintenance of organization financial protocols and accounting systems for all field interventions.

Qualification and Experience:

·         DAE (civil) / B.Tech. Pass (Civil)

·         Relevant experience in WASH projects, 2 years with DAE and / or 1 year with B. Tech/B.E

·         Relevant experience in managing WASH, Agriculture or Solar infrastructure projects

Language: Urdu, English, and Pashto. Local dialect will be added value.

Computer Skills:

·         The candidate shall be computer literate and having good skills of MS office, AutoCad and ERP.

·         Motivation and skill enhancement (capacity development) of communities to increase their income level

·         Social mobilization for replication of the on-farm demonstrated techniques

·         Arrangement for  various training events of efficient techniques in different growing stages of crops

·         Good interpersonal skill
