Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters using Rancher with RKE2 and K3s distributions. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration through tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD. Optimize Linux systems with a focus on performance, networking, and kernel-level tuning to ensure high availability and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain observability and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks. Implement secure CI/CD pipelines that adhere to industry standards including PCI, FIPS, and CIS benchmarks.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles is essential. Proven expertise in managing Kubernetes environments, particularly Rancher-managed clusters with RKE2 and K3s, is required. Strong programming skills in Python or Go for scripting and automation are necessary. In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, including performance tuning and optimization for bare-metal servers, is critical. Practical experience with observability tools and SRE best practices to improve system reliability is expected. Familiarity with OpenStack integration and Rancher add-ons such as Fleet and Longhorn is also important.
