Job Description
Sky Marketing is in search of a Content Writer to join our team to deliver quality and creative content. The position requires:
- Intellectual and creative individual with strong interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter and ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to write for the brand voice
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, writing, marketing or another relevant field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to project management to deadlines, identify writing style, language and tone to meet a variety of target audiences (location, demographics, infographics), and develop and implement strategic content
- Strong skills using technology in the workplace including Google docs, WordPress or a similar web-hosting service, SEO tools (Spyfu, SEMRush, Moz, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster tools), and PR distribution tools (Newswire, PR News)
- Highly articulate and persuasive verbally and in all written formats, writing/proofreading experience demonstrated by the proven ability to distill complex ideas into clear concepts
- Experience producing content optimized for SEO best practices
