- Work with software developers, business analyst and support throughout product lifecycle to ensure product quality.
- Must be a good collaborator who is detail-oriented, pro-active, and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Develop and implement test plans / test cases.
- Experience working in a production support environment.
- Know the process of how to handle a production incident request.
- Experience in performing Functional, Regression, Smoke, UAT and performance testing.
- Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis.
- Candidates having experience using functional test automation tools like selenium will be preferred.
- Java, JSP, JavaScript, Servlets and HTML programming experience is a plus.
- Experience with testing frameworks will be plus such as Junit.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science.
- 1-2 years working experience in Quality Assurance.
- Hands on experience with Relational DBs.
- Experience with testing Java Based products.
- Understanding of the entire software product lifecycle: Development, QA and release management.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
