The Social Media Content Creator role, based in Jordan, is key to leading content production and collaboration for the Everything App. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with extensive experience in social media content creation, skilled at working cross-functionally to develop and execute engaging campaigns that build brand loyalty and align with strategic business objectives. This position requires close cooperation with various departments, including business verticals and markets, to support and enhance the overall social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the development, management, and optimization of social media strategies.
- Manage social media calendars and create compelling captions that engage the audience.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, creative, brand, digital, corporate, and account management to bring Careem’s verticals and sub-brands to life on social platforms.
- Partner with other social media leads to share insights, support campaigns, and ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance, recommending improvements and communicating results internally.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and platforms, experimenting with authentic and brand-appropriate content approaches.
- Lead all stages of content production from ideation to editing, ensuring high-quality output.
- Collaborate with social media and marketing strategists and creators to shape the creative and strategic direction of social content.
- Produce content tailored for social media channels in Pakistan, including video content aligned with Careem’s brand positioning.
- Work closely with business verticals and sub-functions to identify content opportunities and execute briefs effectively.
- Test innovative social content formats to drive channel-specific KPIs and explore new platforms.
- Direct social media shoots and participate on-site to capture content for Stories, Reels, and live coverage as needed.
- Proactively generate made-for-social content inspired by industry and regional trends.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media and content creation.
- Proven expertise in the full content production lifecycle.
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and CapCut.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to creatively ideate around existing concepts and develop new ideas relevant to the target audience.
- Deep understanding of social creative trends and strategic, operational knowledge of social media channels.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Creative strategic thinker with a passion for innovation in social media content.
