A premier Non- Government Policy Think-tank institute which produces policy and knowledge to enhance the capacity and make informed policy decisions is looking for the following positions.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

  • Content creation and covert technical knowledge into social media language 
  • Should have expertise in handling Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn page 
  • Should be able to design social media campaigns  Direct reporting of events, news packages, current affairs, documentaries and other programmes.
  • Understanding of social media audience of each channel and handle criticism as well as interact with them and engage them  Prepare and edit articles and scripts.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections  
  • Coordination with researchers and other departments to generate content for each social media platform  Provide editorial support to SDTV as and when required.
  • Knowledge of online marketing  Work constantly to improve and enhance Social Media services.
  • Generate monthly analytics and share with senior management  Manage, coach and mentor team.
  • Proof read to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, syntax and formatting and ensure work is presentable and error free.
  • Plan the contents according to the editorial policy and publishing requirements.
  • Review and approve proofs submitted by composer prior to publication production.

Other Significant Duties

  • Participate in the meetings.
  • Assist in the administration of the Institute, by serving on committees or otherwise, as determined by the Fellows Research Council.
  • Discharge any other related administrative or management responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director/ Fellows Research Council.

Education

  • Master’s degree in journalism, mass communication or related field

Skills

  • Working knowledge of the creative and technical aspects of media/television production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. 
  • Demonstrated skills in floor management, storyboarding and time management. 
  • Ability to lead social media operations with skills and expertise in supervising social media teams 
  • Demonstrated understanding of gender principles and experience in developing media packages
  • Demonstrated high-quality skills in presentation, negotiating, writing, production, directing and communication. 
  • Ability to thematically design and execute social media activities 
  • Fundraising experience
