Key Responsibilities
The Project Finance and Administrative Officer will provide administrative, financial and logistical support to the project team.
Minimum Requirements and Attributes
1. MBA or equivalent degree and background
2. At least 5 years’ work experience in project management.
3. Experience of project administration (preferably in a charity or an international development context)
4. Experience in administrating substantial project budgets
5. Experience in maintaining filing and tracking systems
6. High level of competence in using software packages, including main Microsoft Office applications, and especially Excel spreadsheets
7. Experience in using databases
8. Good command of the English language
9. Pleasant telephone manner and efficiency in relaying messages and taking instructions
10. Ability to work in a team, or independently under the direction of the line manager
11. Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to multiple deadlines
Established in 2009, SOFT is an Islamabad based national society working for professional facilitators and trainers across Pakistan. It is not for profit society registered under Society Registration Act 1860. The idea of SOFT emerged from the last 10 years efforts being made at the platform of National IPM Programme of Pakistan Agriculture Research Council implemented in different phases all over Pakistan. Its formation is accomplished by a group of professionals desiring an avenue for interchange, professional development, trend analysis and peer networking. A formal association was proposed and adopted at the 2nd National IPM Facilitators congress in Islamabad, November, 2004. The SOFT Network has currently 35 national and international member organizations under SOFT Network, which not only facilitate it in providing resources but also share their expertise in the designated areas.
