- Strong understanding of Network Fundamentals, protocols and technologies TCP/IP, WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, TLS, NAT, PAT, VPN, BGP,LACP, PAGP, CDP, UDLD, STP, RSTP, RSTP+, MST, Active Directory Etc.
- Design, Implement, and Support LAN, WAN, Wireless and Security solutions that meet our corporate networking requirements.
- Update and maintain documentation of networks and systems.
- Maintain inventory of network and telecom devices.
- VMware - ESXi platform.
- Moderate experience with VMWare ESXi.
- Experience in vSphere 5.x and 6x to include vCenter Server for Windows.
- Experience with VMware Upgrade (5.x to 6.x)
- Work closely with the L2 team in managing the VMWare and Hyper-V Infrastructure.
- Firewall DMZ design and implementation.
- Internet architecture design and implementation.
- How can Network issue troubleshooting
- Firewall Certification bonus (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
- Must have experience working with Firewalls (ASA, Fortigate) and IPS/IDS
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Experience and knowledge of modern network threats and malware, network forensics, automation tools and technologies, and endpoint security technologies.
- Good knowledge and experience troubleshooting Layer-2/3 protocols (VLANs, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, IPv4/6, ARP, RIP) and Layer-4 protocols (TCP, UDP, DNS, NAT)
