Sr. Software Engineer

Soft Acon Pakistan Pvt Ltd. is providing offshore IT services for its parent company SwipBox A/S. Since 2012, Swipbox has been dedicated to delivering outstanding solutions to its international business partners. It is headquartered in Denmark with offices in Poland, Australia and Pakistan.

For about a decade, SwipBox has been a software company with a hardware solution, providing parcel logistics companies with innovative software solutions along with solid hardware, which has set new standards for parcel lockers. Prospectively, these are still our key competencies.

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with excellent skills in Node.Js who is passionate about building well- architected, robust, and reliable systems. We expect a resource who is self-starting, energetic, mature, responsible individual with very strong senior software engineering capabilities. As a Senior Developer, your responsibilities will include working closely with other team members to deliver world-class software solutions.

Expected Skills:

Strong proficiency with JavaScript
Excellent knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Good understanding of server-side templating languages
Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
Understanding accessibility and security compliance
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
