The role of the Assistant Project Manager is to assist with the planning, execution and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines. This includes researching and preparing documentation, drafting and executing test plans, and serving as analyst to support project management efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing project scope, goals and deliverables and developing project plans and timelines.
- Plan, design, research, write and edit a range of documents, including user guides and manuals, technical specifications, test plans, training materials, user policies and proposals.
- Liaise with multiple Textile/Apparel industry and business systems, to identify business procedures and establish documentation needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IT staff to collect and interpret technical information.
- Establish, communicate and maintain documentation standards, and provide training where required.
- Perform and coordinate testing with other departments, Analyze testing issues for accurate reporting.
- Strong understanding of document formatting and presentation techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening and interviewing skills.
- Assist Project Manager when and where required
- Compile all project related minutes and monitor project on behalf of project manager.
