We are looking for a mid-level SQL Server Database Administrator who will be responsible for all aspects of operational support.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage SQL Server databases.
- Write Database Scripts for tables, procedures, view, cursors.
- Provides technical support to application development teams.
- Instal, configure and upgrade SQL Server for business applications with compatibility checks.
- Configure and maintain database servers, backups & recovery policies and procedures.
- Reviews and assists the impact analysis of any changes made on production databases.
Skills required:
- Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL and analytical SQL.
- Hands-on experience with SSRS will be a plus.
- Excellent query writing skills.
- A good knowledge of physical database design.
- Strong problem troubleshooting and database monitoring skills.
- Excellent Analytical skills.
- Good knowledge and experience in database migration.
- Good knowledge of back-up technologies, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Good communication skills with management, development teams and systems administrators.
