Software Engineer II - MLOps

This role is particularly suited for data scientists passionate about managing data science projects end-to-end, from initial concept to production, and eager to grow alongside a senior team of skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms and data science projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle from ideation to production.
- Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and industry best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across engineering domains, including Cyber Security, Data, Machine Learning, Infrastructure, Backend, Frontend, and Mobile development.
- Design and implement reliable, scalable systems that support Careem’s AI-driven initiatives.
- Partner closely with senior data scientists to accelerate professional development and contribute to impactful projects across the region.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in data science or machine learning engineering roles.
- Strong foundation in statistics, probability theory, calculus, linear algebra, mathematical analysis, and differential calculus.
- Proficiency in Python programming, SQL, algorithms, and data structures.
- Solid understanding of machine learning theory and algorithms.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
