Software Engineer II - MLOps

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Careem’s ML Ops Engineering team to write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and design reliable, scalable systems.
- Lead end-to-end development of data science projects, from initial concept through to production deployment.
- Work across multiple technology domains including Cyber Security, Data, Machine Learning, Infrastructure, and various Software Engineering areas such as Backend, Frontend, and Mobile development.
- Partner closely with senior data scientists to accelerate learning and contribute to impactful AI-driven solutions.
- Support the continuous growth of Careem’s engineering capabilities by adopting and promoting best practices in software development and machine learning operations.

Required Qualifications:
- Between 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering or data science roles.
- Strong foundation in statistics, probability theory, calculus, linear algebra, mathematical analysis, and differential calculus.
- Proficiency in Python programming, SQL, algorithms, and data structures.
- Solid understanding of machine learning theory and algorithms.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
