Soha Group seeks a highly skilled Civil Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience in commercial and mall projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in project management, structural analysis, and construction supervision to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. This role involves managing a team of five professionals, coordinating project activities from design through execution while maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements. Candidates with excellent communication skills and the ability to join immediately will be prioritized.
The Civil Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing all technical and operational aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client specifications. This position requires proficiency in using design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, as well as comprehensive construction scheduling and site management capabilities. The engineer will actively engage in surveying, land development tasks, and civil engineering design efforts to facilitate seamless project workflows and optimal resource utilization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the planning, design, and execution of commercial and mall construction projects from inception to completion.
- Manage and supervise a team of five engineers and technical staff to maximize productivity and project outcomes.
- Conduct thorough structural analysis to assess the feasibility and safety of engineering designs.
- Prepare, review, and approve detailed construction drawings and design documents using AutoCAD and related software.
- Oversee site supervision activities, ensuring construction work complies with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules, monitor progress, and implement timely corrective actions to address delays.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Implement project management best practices including budgeting, procurement, and documentation management.
- Perform surveying tasks and land development assessments to support design and construction phases.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate policies throughout project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and presentations to communicate project status to senior management and clients.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and safety awareness.
