About the Position!
We are seeking a SCRUM Master to join our Technical Project Management Team at Lahore Office who is great in managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies. You will be responsible to:-
- Coordinate for ongoing and upcoming software development projects, participate in stakeholder meetings and ensure that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Gather requirements and liaison with development, mobile, design, database and QA teams and confirm delivery while using Agile methodology, values, principles and practices according to client’s requirements and schedule.
- Determine and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
- Facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
- Maintain and monitor project plans, sprints, project schedules, work hours and resource planning on JIRA and provide bird’s eye view to portfolio managers about the scheduling of teams or team members.
- Help the Project Technical Leads to create and execute project plans, schedules, milestones and revising via approved change request when appropriate.
- Manage the scrum process with the coordination of Project Management team in Agile methodology.
- Arrange daily stand-up meetings, facilitate/ schedule meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation process.
- Help product owner to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint.
- Update project plans and reports including daily, weekly, quarterly progress reports and weekly updates.
- With Technical process engineering team, create and maintain comprehensive project engineering documentation.
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Deliver effective internal and external communication, ensure transparency and disseminate information appropriately.
- Exercise change management best practices to help manage change.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred.
- Must have 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in software industry – software development.
- Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum and Kanban etc.
- Proven track record and high proficiency in JIRA.
- Exceptional skills to coach team how to follow agile scrum, which really works.
- Understand fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like: Kanban, Crystal, FDD and XP etc.
- Knowledge about methodologies other than Agile-Scrum.
- Highly Organized and self-starter.
- Proven track record of working as a SCRUM Master for SaaS products.
- Must be good in software architect and development solutions and helping the team in this regard.
- Good in using project management and engagement tools.
