Solution Architect Infrastructure

The Solution Architect – Infrastructure (Grade L3) will play a pivotal role in designing and architecting enterprise-grade hybrid and private cloud solutions, as well as data center infrastructures. This position requires close collaboration with OEMs, technology partners, and customers to translate complex business requirements into practical and scalable technical designs. Serving as a vital bridge between presales, customers, channel partners, and delivery teams, the architect will also help build internal capabilities within the System Integration practice for professional and managed services. The role is based in Islamabad, Lahore, or Karachi and involves moderate travel depending on project needs and customer engagements. Applications are open until November 18, 2025.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers to understand and analyze their business and infrastructure requirements.
- Design end-to-end infrastructure architectures that cover compute, storage, virtualization, cloud, and backup solutions.
- Work closely with OEMs and technology partners to validate solutions, perform technical sizing, develop proposals, and ensure alignment with competency frameworks.
- Develop detailed high-level and low-level design documents (HLDs and LLDs), architecture diagrams, bills of quantities (BOQs), and comprehensive handover documentation for delivery teams.
- Provide support to delivery teams during implementation planning to ensure solutions meet design specifications and are deployment-ready.
- Participate in OEM technical enablement programs and contribute to the growth of internal competencies within the System Integration practice.
- Assist in solution positioning during customer engagements, including preparing responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Keep abreast of market trends and emerging technologies related to infrastructure, cloud, and data center architectures.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in infrastructure solution design, cloud or data center engineering, or presales roles.
- Strong expertise in data center and cloud infrastructure components, including compute, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), backup, and security architecture best practices.
- Proven track record in customer-facing technical solutioning and producing detailed architecture documentation.
- Solid understanding of OEM and partner ecosystems with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively on solution development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
