Purpose
This position provides leadership, technical direction, coordination, staff supervision, and technical expertise for managing Telecom infrastructure, services and projects. This hands-on position leads, supervises and manages a team of Telecom professionals.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the telecommunication team, providing technical support and directions to ensure the delivery of telecommunication services in line with business service level requirements.
Develop and implement operating process and procedures for maintaining telecom infrastructure services.
Monitor and ensure all telecommunication incidents are logged and resolved within agreed SLA
Manage staff performance and development as per HR polices and direction.
Assist Operations Manager in developing technology road-map in the telecommunications area. Propose yearly telecom projects portfolio in alignment with business requirements.
Assist operations manager in developing operational budget
Manage telecom projects and ensure quality delivery within agreed timeframe and budget.
Manage telecommunication contracts for equipment and services.
Manage relationship with key suppliers to ensure service efficiency and delivery.
Manage the life cycle of telecom equipments.
Monitor performance of telecom services and develop improvement plans accordingly.
